Rumination:
I know you will never tell my deepest secrets
or maybe
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas
Today was the day that everyone got to know I have a new job. I was suprised how hard it was to tell people. It was a day that truly made me realize my youth. After three years working with the same group of people there wasn't a single one who I could tell without getting tears in my eyes. I guess that is a good thing, it means I care about what I do and who I do it with. I am looking forward to the challenges of being a supervisor but I am scared also. When you know how to do something life is just so easy and routine. Now it is about to change or as Jill said to me today the C word. Here goes:) Jump in with both feet and keep my eyes wide open!

A photo of Brian at site
You can't tell from the picture but he is enjoying working up there. Finally getting to see what he has been working on for 2 years. The food sounds amazing but the nights sound a little boring. The countdown has begun for when he gets home on Thursday:)

For Starters

Rumination Numere Uno:

If I get closer will you understand you must love me?

or possibly

If you could see the whole picture could you see the whole me?

Since we all need yet another Internet addiction. I thought why not devote one to my fabulous dogs and my own musings on my life and my husband who is away.

Really I wanted to call this Blog "My Husband Left me for a Woman Named Fort Mac" but I thought first it was too long and second what do I do once he is back :)

Then I thought to call it "Daily Dogma" but apparently that was already taken. So I came up with "Ruff Ruminations" and I am sure you all get the pun...

I can begin first by defining rumination since I also made sure to look it up so that it at least roughly or should I say ruffly fit what I meant. Here goes:

ru·mi·nate: /ˈruməˌneɪt/ [roo-muh-neyt]
1. to chew the cud, as a ruminant.
2. to meditate or muse; ponder. –verb (used with object)
3. to chew again or over and over.
4. to meditate on; ponder.

ru·mi·nat·ing·ly, adverb
ru·mi·na·tion, noun
ru·mi·na·tive, adjective
ru·mi·na·tive·ly, adverb
ru·mi·na·tor, noun
—Synonyms 2. think, reflect.

And because I am not chewing, at least not at the moment. I went with #2 and #4 as my definitions. Which I guess makes me the Ruminative Ruminator who Ruminatingly or Ruminatively makes Ruminations. Ruffly anyways :)

Groan...I know enough puns. I think I will try and update this daily. We will see if I decide to let anyone know the website...
