Ultraviolet Photo Pics #1

Here is my first installment of my favorites from Grady's most recent photo session with fabulous photographer Auntie Amanda. There are over 100 great shots but I will just share a few over the next couple of days. Please feel free to come up with your own captions for the photos, Grady was pulling so many great faces!

"Oh Auntie Babs you are hilarious!"

"Seriously, you're making my tummy hurt you are so funny!"

"Can I please?!"

"Hey baby come here often?"

Just about right

We have had no luck with our new sofa and chair that we bought last Christmas. After several repairs the chair is still having problems and Brian managed to convince Lazy Boy that they should give us a credit. So off we went to the store to find a suitable replacement which is a challenge sinc we didn't want the same chair again but we wanted it to still go with tto couch. Grady enjoyed the shopping experince and found this little chair that was just right for him. Too bad he had no luck convincing us it should replace our chair:D

Make Room for Us All

Steph can I squeeze in there too! I don't know if the couch could handle it. Lucky we have a large sofa when you have to make room for 2 dogs and a baby. Rebar just managed to get herself in there by snaking between Steph's legs. Grady is helping her work on her abs by using them to stand. Lucky for us Steph likes the dogs and loves the baby!

Where's Grady?

Can you find Grady?

I could have sworn I left him in the middle of the blanket near the toys but the next time I turned around this is what I saw! Hmmm No Grady. I thought geez Brian is stealthy coming dowstairs and taking him without me even noticing. And then I heard the "goos" and "gaas" and saw...

The little bugger has figured out how to push himself backwards and at quite a pace I might say as I doubt it was more than a few minutes from when I had put him down. Smiles all a round though. He very proud of himself for getting this far. I am sure he would have gotten further under if it hadn't been for that beam stopping him.

As you can see he is very close to bumping his cute little head on the bottom of the futon. I guess I looked at the right moment or a knock on the wood and a yell would have let me know where he was. So needless to say Grady is on the move in several directions. He can move backwards and roll over and over. Watch out for when he gets that crawl figured out! Let's see if my prediction for the end of the month pans out.

Exersaucer

Another great garage sale find by Grandma Gloria, Grady recieved this exersaucer around Christmas. After a short stint in the Knopke's house to entertain Molly-anna over the holidays it is now a permanent fixture in our house. Grady loves it.

"Hey Ernie, this thing is pretty cool. Too bad you aren't able to enjoy it!"

"All I have to so is sit and be cute and people come over and make funny faces, like my Uncle Bryan. He is very silly"

"Or they can't wait to play with you, like my cousin Cara. She is pretty fun"

"And best of all, I can stand up on my own! And bounce a bit, I can even rock back and forth"

"I sure do think it is fun!"

Let sleeping babes...

Nothing like falling asleep while watching TV and then getting caught on camera by Dad when he gets home from work. A well deserved nap for Mom and Grady after an exhausting holiday season. Especially since at the time Grady was only sleeping for 3 hours at a stretch.

When I grow up...

When I grow up I might like to be a mountie. What do you think?

Who would have thought that build-a-bear clothes would fit a baby! And they are probably cheaper too! This is just mom and Auntie Babs having some silly fun. Got to get it in before they can say no! He does look pretty darn cute though.

Acting up at the Hospital

"Auntie Shelley aren't you glad Isabel wasn't as big as I am! "

"Phew hospitals are exhausting I am just gunna take a little break. I don't know how you ladies handle this giving birth thing. Just waiting for my cousin was tiring enough! "

"Let's eat! "

A Cold Dog Walk

We venture out into the -30 weather to get the dogs some exercise. Not to mention to just get out of the house even if it is frigid outside!

Grady decided that he is now a forward facing baby when it comes to being outside. Much happier than the other way. I guess my winter coat is not a nice place to lay his head!

Mardi and Rebar love the snow and cold. Here they are tugging their toy. Mostly Mardi fetches but when she forgets or gets out of hand Rebar is right in there to set her straight!
