First Stampede
All done eating that nice breakfast, 2 pancakes and a sausage each plus some orange juice. Grady like everything but the orange juice.
Getting to pet the lamb because we were too late lining up for the petting zoo.
Fell asleep on the way to the Stampede Grounds. I was forced to take the stroller even though I didn't want to be one of "those people". However never wake a sleeping Grady :D He did very well the whole day on the grounds and i sure this nap had a lot to do with it.
Here Grady is meeting one of the Heavy Horses (they can pull 10,000 lbs!). This horse came right up to use to say hello, the rancher was very impressed that his horse was so interested in Grady.
Grady however was very interested in the rancher and jumped right into his arms. no word or a lie I couldn't even stop him. So no worries about him being social enough. Boy was that rancher surprised! He said he didn't even have kids and had never had that happen. I guess Grady has early tendancies towards becoming a Cowboy!
Not a bad looking tractor driver!
All in all a very good day had by us all. I don't know what we will do when the stampede gets even bigger in the next few years. We weren't even able to see everything in the 4 hrs we were there! Grady really enjoyed meeting the animals and all the new things to look at.

Drum Lesson
When Grady was first born he didn't mind the drums, I suppose because he was used to it from hearing it while I was pregnant. Then he developed a small dislike of them and would cry every time Brian played. After some coaxing and acting like idiots to show him they were fun he decided they are not so bad and so he can now dabble in pounding away.

Why We Know Rebar is a Good Dog
I've been trying to get a video of this for a few months but being a performer Grady is always aware when the camera turns on and often stops what he is doing. But today I got it. Here is one of Grady's favorite things to do with Rebar when she is sleeping. I only got a snippet but it usually involves several quiet minutes of play as Rebar sleep and Grady has fun pulling her lips. She always obliges until there is too much noise from Grady or he gets her nose but even then all she does is shift her head.
For your veiwing pleasure:
I think towards the end Grady decides to see if Mardi will also play along but then thinks better of it. I am not sure what the little yell into the floor is for but thought I might as well include it for comic value.
