Adventures with Mardi and Rebar

As you all know a big part of our lives revolves around the dogs and I know people who don't have pets don't like and don't understand the comparison but they are in fact very similar to children. I don't call myself and niether does Brian Mardi and Rebar's "Mom and Dad". But I do often think or refer to them as my other children. Plus I am pretty sure at this stage the three o the are functioning near the same congnitive level (Grady, Rebar and Mardi that is ;p)
So here are some adventures with our whole family:
Grady out in the field at Beaver Dam Flats with Mardi, Rebar and Dad after a recent dog walk. This field is always a must stop after a big swim in the river as it gives the dogs (and in this case Grady) one last chance to burn off some energy.

Grady by the Bow River watching the dogs swim. I should post a similar photo from last year so you can all be amazed at home much he is now truly a little boy and no longer a baby.

Grady and Dad walking along the river bank looking for some rocks to throw.

Grady riding "doubles" with Alexa at Southland Dog Park. Grady doesn't like to go in Tif's stroller much at all so this is sometimes our compromise for when he wants to sit.

Side view of doubles riding. The other benefit is that Grady can't kick at Alexa's seat from this side! So although he loves her he still likes to make her cry everyone once in a while. I assume just because he can!

Yup! That's right Rebar is at the top of the slide. Brian managed to convince her to go up the ramp. Although convincing her to go down the slide was a different story. He got Mardi up there too but I didn't get a photo.

I don't wanna go down!

This video is of Grady going down the slide in a park near Grandma and Grandpa's in Edmonton. No I do not have it on slow-mo Grady figured out to push his rubber sole against the edge to control his speed.

This is Rebar running up the ramp at the same park and going down the slide. It was ridiculous how much she loved it! I think we should enrol her in some agility, she did it about 10 times that day and was wagging her tail and bouncing with excitement the whole time.
