Mexico Jan 2010

Here is a quick synopsis of our Brooks family trip to Puerto Vallarta this past week. You will have to excuse the photos being in random order there was just so many that it was too hard to try and order them. Thank You Grandma and Grandpa Brooks for the fabulous Christmas present. We would do it again in a heart beat. It sure made the trip a lot better to have extra sets of hands to keep Grady busy. We manage to get some relaxation in as a result!
The whole family out for Mexican Night.

Grady's favorite activity. Why let mom relax when you can climb all over her?

Grady on the beach. Our best attempt at a photo of him with the sunset on the last night

Beautiful Sunset!

Nap time on the beach chair for super baby? Nope just a little lie down before running off to save the world.

Grady and Uncle Daryl. The same expression on their faces?

Dad and Grady have some fun in the sand.

A nap in the stroller on day one. Nothing could wake Grady that day!

All dressed up for a dinner out at one of the restaurants

Christmas Festivities with the Brooks Side

We had a lot of Chrismas festivities with the Brooks side of the family. Open house parties, trips to see the various lights, several dinners and babysitting extravaganzas plus a lovely family dinner on Christmas Eve. Grady enjoyed every minute and is so used to going to bed late that we can't get home down before 10pm. He is ready to party in Mexico!
An early present for the trip to Mexico.
We had to make sure it fit and Grady sure loved wearing it!
Kind of a funny look for a dog walk in December though!

Some strange characters at the festival of lights. Since when do penguins wear jeans?

Playing with 2nd Cousin Ashwin

Poor Rebar she was not cut out for riding!

Zoolights

We managed to find a nice enough evening this December to take a trip out to Calgary Zoolights. It is much improved from previous years and was worth the cost. Brian got dome tickets through work and we also had our annual memberships so we took along Grandma and Grandpa Brooks.
Here Grady is trying out the ice sled.

Here Brian shows Grady how to slide down a snow hill. We could hardly tear him away once he got going. What a little daredevil we have on our hands :D
