Rides

Last Sunday we took a quick trip over to Heritage Park in order to enjoy the sun and put our annual passes to good use. We were happy to learn that Grady is just tall enough to try out some rides (with an adult of course). It was some good practice as we are planning a trip to Calloway Park this summer.

Grady's Favorite - the merry-go-round. He did one trip with mom, one with dad and then one on the horse.

Gymtastic!

Grady has been doing Gymtastics for 10 weeks now. One of the classes was Bring a Friend Day so we invited cousin Isabel. She is just 4 months younger than Grady and was sure to enjoy it as much as he does. And she did! Here are some photos of their fun times!

Grady shows off his jumping skills to Gymbug Judy.

Isabel is not so sure about the big trampoline. Don't worry Isabel it was your first class Grady needed a warm up class too!

The ball pit is always a must stop station.

Doubling up on the 1/2 moon rockers, looks relaxing!

Teeter Totter Toddlers

This alligator really rocks!

Isabel checks out the slide station

Grady and Isabel cross paths in the tunnel...Excuse me :D

A big run on the long trampoline for Grady. His new favorite spot in Gymtastics.

Waiting patiently at the end of class for the bells to come around

Grady gets his turn on the bells

Grady passes the stick to Isabel for her turn

Grady knows to put his best foot forward at the end of class, sometimes his belly too!

Isabel getting her feet stamped

Feet all stamped up as a reward for a hard time playing.

30

For my 30th birthday we roasted a whole lamb in the backyard for our family and friends. So everyone got to eat my birthday gift and I got to enjoy everyone's company. Unfortunately we only seem to have photos of the lamb so if you have some please share them with me.

At the beginning of the day just before some hail and then the sun came out.

Rebar's faithful post. I'm sure shes thinking "I've got dibs if it falls off" Mardi was not around much I think she thought we must be roasting a relative of her's! The lamb weighed 50lb!

So delicious people couldn't wait for it to get on a plate!

Yum Yum!

Cousins

Cousin Isabel along with Auntie Shelley and Uncle Bryan stopped by for a nights visit before heading off to Banff for a much needed family vacation.
It was so nice to see the cousins who are 4 months apart in age finally getting more and more interactive with each other and PLAYING!
Here Grady and Isabel check out Bryan peeping through the hole at Southcentre's play area. They thought it was pretty funny! I laugh every time I see that face too :D
Maybe a bit out of focus but it is sure hard to catch a moving toddler in a still photo. I thought though it produced a nice effect in the photo of cute little Isabel.
Isabel ventures into the sea creature area
Uncle Bryan reads the kids a book. What a cute photo of them!
Grady show Isabel the best place to play in the kitchen, especially since the dog food has been cleared out it is a great place for toddlers to climb.
Lots of fun!
The look on Grady's face says it all!
