Frank and Beans?

What were we serving on the deck the other night? Frank and Beans of course, well at least Grady was! Who doesn't go for a streak around their deck before bedtime? Grady finds it good for the soul. I would've posted a face shot but didn't manage one that didn't have the Frank and Beans in it :D Hope this gave you giggle ;p

Zoo

On Monday we went to the Zoo with Tif + Alexa, Lindsay + Francis, Megan + Connor and Auntie Amanda. It was a pretty good day for it and even better since Tif had the day off and could join us! Each time we go to the Zoo Grady enjoys it more than the last. We saw lots of animals and Grady was doing his best to try out all the names and sometimes the animal sounds too!

We saw (Grady speak - Translation):
Geeraffe - Giraffe
Borilla, Grilla, Worilla - Gorilla
Beepcop, Weecopt - Peacock
Wobblie - Walliby
Elephant
Birdie - Flamingo (no matter how hard I tried he insisted Birdie)

Lots of fun all around!
Grady gets as close as he can to the Borilla

This porcupine was really cool because his pen was being cleaned and so he was a bit on edge and gave everyone a full show of all his quills spiked up. He had one awesome mohawk!

I want to touch it Auntie!

This bench is pretty awesome

You can't see it but there is a butterfly under that flower and Grady is getting a very close look.

REEEEACH! the "telephone"

Have a listen... I don't think Grady ever stayed on long enough to hear anything but he tried every single one we passed.

Grandpa??

Tonight Grady and I were reading his bedtime story. The book he picked was "What Do I Eat?" It is a book with holes that got all the way through from the cover to the last page hollowing out the middle of animal's nostrils. Several animals are pictured in the book, most being Mom and Baby animals. It includes Giraffe, Rhino, Sloth, Koala, Horse etc. Grady can name most of the animals and he enjoys doing so, often he also likes to point out which are the mommies and which are the babies. He was doing this tonight of course and then we got to this page:

I read "The WILD BOAR helps her babies each find their meal "Fresh leaves are so tasty!" they say with a squeal." Grady in turn points out each "baby" and then points to the big boar and tell me (clear as a bell) its "Grandpa". Well didn't that just make me chuckle!

Now you tell me which Grandpa is most repensentative of a Boar or better yet which one looks more like the boar in the picture! LOL!

Playing Around

Here are some photos of the crazy and cute things our little guy like to do for entertainment.
This one looks like some kind of magic trick. Grady managed to cram himself under the stool and then thought it was really funny if daddy stood on top.

And a video of Grady blowing "couch farts" something he also thought was funny and convinced daddy to try. Although it didn't take much to convince him :D
