Happy Halloween | Ruff Ruminations

Our good friends Candice and Warren hosted a Halloween Party this weekend. The theme was super heroes. I thought it would be funny to go as Star Wars and Brian could be Darth and Grady Luke and then it would really be "Luke I am your father". But he didn't want to wear a mask so then we though it would be even funnier if....

We gender-bent the roles! That's one sexy Princess Leia in her slave costume :D You can't tell but I'm smiling, I kept smiling in all the photos before I remembered you can't see my face! Mardi and Rebar are just general Jedi Knights as I was not ambitious enough to make them something more creative :D

Turns out Candice and Warren had the same theme in mind. I didn't get a good shot but Renton is dressed in a Yoda costume designed for dogs.

Isn't embarrassing when you go to a party to find out another lady is wearing the same thing? LOL. What makes a better Leia?

A light saber fight, with a comical Leia scared in the background!

Yes, Brian even got clever with his cup. "Lay-a"

As is turned out 50% of the party was Stars Wars. Here are some of the other Characters that turned up. Ninja Turtle, Where's Waldo, Ewok, The Joker

Brian stayed in character for almost the whole night

Towards the end of the night there was a costume parade so that we could vote on best costume of the night. We were teh only Gender-benders as you can see from this awesome Indiana Jones action shot! The big winner? The Ninja Turtle, all home made including a paper mache shell.

Lots of fun that night and not as rowdy as parties were 10 years ago :D

  1. OMG I don't know what's funnier; the gender switch or Brian's while thighs and ass hanging out all night. Hee hee hee/.
I'm almost sorry that I missed that one in real life...

  2. Haha! He kept saying he wished there was a little less leg and I said "I'm sure Slave Leia felt the same way". Better than his original idea to actually go in a bikini!
