We headed to Edmonton the weekend before my birthday so my side of the family would have a chance to get together to celebrate my and my sister-in-law's birthdays before my mom jetted off to PEI to visit with Grammie. It was a bit of a stressful trip given that Grady was in the hospital for an asthma attack due to a cold a few days before we left but if anything we are pretty sure cats are another trigger for him so we will know better for next time.
We went out to Chuck-E-Cheese on Saturday as I thought t would be a fun night out. It was pretty good but I don't know if it will top our list of places to go any time soon. The Zone in Kalispell was miles better and a much bigger bang for your buck (but that is a little farther to travel!)
But Grady had fun plowing through his 100 tokens! In the end he collected enough tickets for noise putty and two mini rolls of sweet tarts.
Gramma and Granpa came along too. For $86 we got two pizzas, 1 salad bar (that's right only salad bar for one person1) 4 pops and 100 tokens. Not a great deal but what can you do?
Tell me this doesn't look like a casino game? Grady loved it though.
Then we went off to Auntie Amanda's for a birthday BBQ with the whole family. Uncle Ed was fab and made us a brisket on his Big Green Egg. I tell ya that guy can cook!
Uh oh Henry is not so sure about that!
We brought up Ladder Ball which was a big hit.We will be bringing it again after we hone our skills camping!
Not that you can tell but Grady is making "baby" sounds which Henry actually really liked
How many goof balls can you fit in one hammock? Looks like 1 - 2 - 3? But who is that biggest?
I think I might be the biggest goof!
In the end it was a nice trip and we got some beautiful weather. Next time hopefully we are all feeling better and can check out the High Level Bridge Trolley or John Janzen Centre!
